Hi all

As some of you already know, I have rented a space in an art studio at the old biscuit mill. The studio is called the One Roof Studio I am here most days, as I am now a full-time artist, so feel free to give me a call if you are keen to come have a look. We are hoping to hold an exhibition around the 31st July which will run Thurs - Sat. I will also hopefully have some work up in another location at the Biscuit mill in more of a "gallery" environment. We wait and see!

So i thought i was about time I wrote about New York. So much to say, really but hard to describe. The city is pretty amazing. Large, partly glamorous, partly industrial and completely unique. The kind of place you can get lost in or swallowed up in because it offers practically everything. I got a feeling of "high concentration": of people, parties, cultures, buildings, careers, skills and dreams. Hi all

This is the start of my new art blog. Hopefully I will be able to update this frequently with all sorts of interesting things to do with art, art exhibitions, art events and photography, in and around Cape Town. Obviously it will also have some updates about what I am currently doing. At the moment I am working on a couple more pastel portraits, mainly township images as well as some abstract paintings.
