Fantastic exhibition last night at Art in the Forrest (Cecilia Forest, Constantia Nek)!

The event was hosted by the Light From Africa Foundation, an NGO dedicated to uplifting HIV/AIDS affected children and empowering the less-fortunate through many different forms of art.

The exhibition was held in a beautiful space just inside Cecilia forest, which has been converted into a light, modern gallery/ studio. Those participating in this exhibition are particularly Joburg-based print artists but there is also a large ceramics display and a number of collaborative works.

There is lots of scope for the imagination at this interesting exhibition, some real talent and of course the chance to acquire a great peice of art (the prices of which I am told, are set to sky-rocket soon, as these up-and-coming artist take Joburg by storm).

Certainly worth a look!
